THERMAGE

Thermage is a non-surgical and non-invasive alternative for skin lifting in the jowls, neck, eyelids, arms, thighs, buttocks and abdomen.

How much does it cost?

$1250 - $3500 per treatment.

Does it hurt?

There is some discomfort felt during the procedure, however it is very tolerable. You will feel a cool sensation, then a deep, heating sensation as each pulse of radio frequency is delivered to the skin. Treatment time can range from 30 minutes to three hours, depending on the area(s) treated. A mild analgesic may be given during the procedure for greater comfort.

What is the downtime?

None; clients can return to work the following day. There is slight visual tightening after the treatment, but it usually takes four to six months to see the overall results.

How many treatments will I need?

Usually only one treatment is needed and can last over two years, depending on how you take care of yourself. Ideally, clients should be at a maintenance weight, not trying to lose weight. when they complete the procedure.

Medical note:

Clients are not a candidate if they have a pacemaker, metal implants or cochlear implants.

Treatment cannot be administered if you are pregnant.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cosmetics may be applied after treatment. Minimal redness is seen in some clients after treatment, but it generally disappears within several hours.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Sunscreen should be used everyday. If you need a recommendation, please ask. We will be happy to help you.
  • If treating the abdomen, thighs or buttock regions, we recommend wearing Spanx® type support garments for two weeks following the procedure.
  • No anti-inflammatory medications, such as Alleve® or Motrin®, should be taken for two weeks following the procedure, as they might hinder the results.
