TATTOO REMOVAL
Tattoo removal is a good option for clients who no longer want tattoos on their skin.
How much does it cost?
Tattoo removal pricing depends on the number of areas treated and to what extent.
$200 - $1000 per treatment.
Does it hurt?
Topical or local anesthesia is used to allow for a comfortable treatment. The treated areas might scab, but will heal within several days.
What is the downtime?
Clients can return to work the next day.
How many treatments will I need?
Professional tattoos generally require 10 to 12 monthly treatments, while homemade tattoos require five to six monthly treatments.
Medical note:
It is important to keep the treated areas out of the sun, especially for the two weeks preceding and following your treatment.
POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Leave bandages on and keep area dry for 24 hours. After this time, you can get the treated areas wet.
- Apply Polysporin® ointment or Aquaphor® ointment to the site four times a day for a more rapid healing. The goal is to soften scabs or prevent them from forming.
- Redness, mild swelling and some clear drainage are normal for the healing process.
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure for two weeks after the procedure.
