LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal is a good option for clients with dark-colored hair. Those with blonde, white, gray or red hair are not ideal candidates for this procedure.

How much does it cost?

Laser hair removal pricing depends on the number of areas treated and to what extent.

Does it hurt?

There is mild discomfort during the treatment. Ice and/or topical anesthetic can be applied prior to the treatment for greater comfort.

What is the downtime?

None; clients can return to work immediately after the procedure.

How many treatments will I need?

Clients need a series of treatments with appointments spaced four to eight weeks apart.

Medical note:

Clients should not take any medications that indicate “no prolonged sun exposure.” Certain medications will affect the outcome of your treatment.

Treatment cannot be administered if you are pregnant.

Please notify the staff of all prescriptions prior to scheduling.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

• Redness, slight swelling and superficial scabbing can be expected and last a few days. The treatment area may feel like a sunburn for a few hours.
• Makeup can be applied right away.
• Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Sunscreen should be used everyday. If you need a recommendation, please ask. We will be happy to help you.
• Avoid picking or scratching the treatment areas.
• Do not tweeze the hairs. Let them fall out as they grow – this is a natural process.
• Blistering, peeling, and darkening or lightening of the skin are all possible, but less common. Avoiding the sun reduces the chances of many of these concerns.
• Treatments are performed every four to eight weeks. Please schedule your follow up appointment when leaving.
