FILLERS
Fillers are a good option for those who are concerned with mild to moderate facial lines and wrinkles and desire volume restoration to these areas. You can enhance your lips, cheeks, and under-eye area, and can even sculpt the shape of your nose.
How much does it cost?
Filler pricing depends on how many syringes and what type of filler are used.
$650 - $5500
Does it hurt?
Not usually, but this depends on the treatment location. In using a topical anesthetic and a dental block, we can achieve complete comfort for the patient.
What is the downtime?
There is a possibility of bruising, swelling and/or tenderness in the area for approximately five days. Ice packs are applied immediately post-procedure to help the swelling subside. Cosmetics may be applied to conceal any bruising if needed. Patients usually need two full days before returning to work.
How many treatments will I need?
Certain fillers last longer than others, so your need for follow-up treatments depends on the type of filler used and where it is placed. Most clients are injected two to three times per year.
Medical note:
Clients should not take any blood thinners (i.e. Vitamin E, Aspirin or Coumadin) for five days prior to treatment. These will increase your risk of bruising.
Treatments cannot be administered if you are pregnant.
Reactivation of cold sores is possible when doing fillers. Please let us know if you have a history of cold sores.
Please notify the staff of all prescriptions prior to scheduling
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- There may be slight redness, swelling, and/or tenderness in the treated area immediately after the treatment. This is a normal result of the injection and disappears within a few days.
- The swelling after lip treatment may last longer than other areas. Lips can look somewhat uneven for a week and should not be viewed as the final result.
- Avoid touching the treated area for the first two days following the treatment. Cosmetics can be applied after this initial waiting period.
- Do not expose the treatment area to intense heat, sunlight, or cold for one week.
- If we prescribe cold sore medicine for you, please take it as directed.
